Emergency Preparedness

Local Boards of Health, train and prepare for public health events that require a response in the community. This can include vaccine clinics and public health issues as they relate to disaster recovery.

Vaccine Preparedness

The LRPHC works with our member towns on their Emergency Dispensing Site plans. These plans are developed and update through a partnership with Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Each town has specific sites chosen and assigned roles for people within the community in order to provide vaccines to the townspeople.

Disaster Recovery

Disaster recovery from a public health perspective, can mean many things. Local Boards often work with a town's Emergency Management departments in preparation for disaster recovery.
